Set for September 30–October 5 at Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club—UAE’s largest badminton event
The Al Ain Masters 2025 Organising Committee has officially released a striking global promotional video, masterfully blending top-tier badminton action with the enduring cultural beauty of Al Ain.
Scheduled to take place between September 30 and October 5 at the Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and backed by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the tournament is set to become the largest badminton spectacle ever hosted in the UAE.
Featuring over 250 participants from 55 nations, the competition will offer essential ranking points crucial for Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualification.
The promotional film visualizes Al Ain’s iconic landmarks—from the serene Al Ain Oasis, to the storied Al Jahili Fort, and the majestic Jebel Hafeet—intertwined with dynamic badminton play. It also includes appearances by national badminton athletes and UAE football legend Subait Khater, symbolising the city’s rich sporting heritage. The tournament mascot, “Al Shaheen”, makes a delightful cameo, set to a rousing championship soundtrack.
Talal Mustafa Al Hashmi, Executive Director of Events at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, affirmed: “We are proud to support the Al Ain Masters 100 — one of the largest and most important badminton tournaments on the international calendar. Al Ain’s rich heritage and growing reputation for hosting world-class events make it the perfect stage for this global competition.”
Noura Al Jasmi, President of the UAE Badminton Federation and Chairperson of the Organising Committee, emphasized:
